The Feldbar spanking paddle PJ wrote (22nd December 2024): This is a rather entertaining little thread, for those of us in the UK who know the history! Those spanking paddles (leather, not wooden) were manufactured on a cottage industry scale by George Huntingdon, who actually ran a newsagents shop in Felpham, on the English South Coast. Thoroughly nice man, a bit eccentric but aren't we all, here in England... This was in the mid 1970s to late 80s. George was a traditionalist in terms of punishment - not, I should stress, a nasty man, nor a fetishist. Anyway he believed in spanking at home and caning in school (still fully legal in those days and extremely widespread). British parents' implement of choice was nearly always the slipper - but George decided that some were more suitable than others, and that there would be a market for a simple flat leather paddle to sell to parents. It's definitely possible to use a paddle that long over the lap. And instead of swatting the bottom with the part of the paddle close to the handle, grandpa could instead have his elbow further back so that the end part of the paddle can still connect. But, either way of doing it, ends up giving less hard of a swat than that size of paddle is capable of. Forum pics and forum pic notes, April to September 2021 - Perspectives on Boys' Spankings voy forum

Thank you to everyone who said nice things about the research I did into topics about the forum pics that we used on the forum during 2021. We were keeping a record of these on the forum itself, which was a mistake cos Voy then deleted the entire forum and never told us why even tho Alf asked them. The good news is that we kept some of the info. So this post is gonna contain as much info as I can find, for anyone interested in looking thru the old forum pics and the info I posted about each one. And later I might re-write some of the ones that were lost completely (cos I know which pics were used for each one.) And then soon I might put up new forum pics with new notes on this blog too.
